The rest of the team is in safe.
Yesterday we got up early and took Rachel to the airport in Leon. She was a huge help with her Spanish skills in helping us in so many ways, so we’re on our own now. She got off safe and then several hours later the Mehlhorn family arrived. It was great to have them in safe and sound.
This morning we called for a cab and rode back to the little church. It took two taxies to haul us all to church. After lunch some of us headed downtown to look around and see a few of the historic places. We hiked around for several hours looking at the beautiful buildings and even went to the “Alley of the Kiss.”
Tomorrow morning at 9am our Spanish classes start. We are looking forward to getting into a routine but are somewhat anxious about what is ahead of us. Please continue to pray for us and for Colleen as she wil begin classes with the six children tomorrow. KR 7/5/09
