Nicaragua Team Arrived Safe

Jana called tonight and said that all the flights went well for everyone. They all arrived safe and will stay at the Chosen Children base outside of Managua tonight.
The portion of the team that arrived earlier today went out to the Emmanuel village and did some sports outreach and ministry with the children there. (This is a village that Catalyst teams have worked in several times over the past few years.)
The plan for tomorrow is for the entire team to return to Emmanuel and lead the children in a children’s church. Pray for prepared hearts as they work with these physically and spiritually needy children. Pray for strength for the team.
For Monday the plan is that the Chosen Children bus will take the team up to Leon. Pray for safe travel on this three hour drive and health for the team as their bodies adjust to the different conditions.
The rest of the week will be spent near Leon. The team will stay at the base outside of Leon and work near there.
